James J. Keefe, Jr.

James J. Keefe Jr. of Hingham,  passed away on Friday May 28,2021  at the age of 99. Jim is lovingly remembered by his daughter Mary Ellen Graziano and his son David Keefe and David’s wife Ella Keefe. He is also fondly remembered by his grandchildren Ryan and Scott Graziano and Janet and Jessica Keefe. He was a loving husband to his deceased wife Arline Keefe and a devoted father and grandfather. Jim grew up in Somerville, MA and raised his family in Hingham.  He was a proud WWII Veteran who loved telling his war stories. He attended Boston University and had a long career in the Internal Revenue Agency working as an accountant. On his free time, he enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and was an avid Boston sports fan.  He enjoyed getting a cup of coffee each day and sitting at Hingham Harbor and he loved spending time with his beloved family. Jim recently celebrated his 99^th birthday and was showered with many birthday wishes. He will be dearly missed.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday, June 4, in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald Street, Hingham from 9:30 – 10:45am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, 147 North Street. Hingham on Friday at 11am. Interment will be immediately following the Mass in St. Paul’s Cemetery, 114 Hersey Street, Hingham.
