James H. ‘Jim’ Armstrong

Armstrong, James H. ‘Jim’ of North Quincy, passed away suddenly September 4, 2011. Longtime companion of Fran Callahan of Quincy, and her children, Michael, Peter and Gregory. Brother of the late Arthur Armstrong. Dear friend of Tom and Peg Greland, and Marilyn and Dave Geary. Jim was a lifelong resident of Quincy and worked for many years as a manager for Duggan Bros Chevrolet and South Shore Buick. He was a 1948 graduate of North Quincy High School. Jim was a longtime member of the Koch Club bowling leagues, as well as a Mason. A quiet man, everyone loved Jim. He enjoyed traveling and cruising. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy, followed by his Funeral Service at 8 p.m. Burial will be private.
