James F. Talty

Talty, James F. of Quincy, formerly of Bridgeport, CT, March 22, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Alice W. (Lantz) Talty. Devoted father of Frank Talty of Midlothian, Va, Nancy Kelly of New Fairfield, CT, Barbara Soltis of Huntington, CT and John Talty of Bridgeport, CT. Loving brother of John Talty of FL, Mary Talty of Brighton, Ann Rinaldi of Charlestown and the late Frank, Rose and Elizabeth Talty. Cherished grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. James was born in Arlington and lived in both Quincy, MA and Bridgeport, CT for many years. He worked as an aircraft inspector for Avco Lycoming, in Stratford, CT, retiring in 1978. Mr. Talty was a family man and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Saturday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Friday 6- 9 PM. Cremation will follow. Donations in memory of Mr. Talty may be made to 1000 Southern Artery Memorial Fund, 1000 S.
