James F. “Sully” Sullivan

Sullivan, James F. “Jimmy ” “Sully” of Quincy November 2, 2005. Son of the late Cornelius & Catherine Sullivan . Brother of Eileen Burke of Dorchester, Cornelius Sullivan of MI, Kathleen Green of Hanover. Elizabeth Swanton & Lorraine Grier both of Quincy and the late Kevin Sullivan & Marjorie Powers. James is also survived by many nieces & nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Sea St., Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Saturday evening 6-8 PM and Sunday 4-8 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. Donations in memory of Mr. Sullivan may be made to Fr. Bill’s Place 38 Broad St. Quincy, MA 02169. Jimmy grew up in Dorchester was educated at St. Peters School and then Gate of Heaven School. He served in the United States Marine Corp. from 1955 until 1969, receiving a purple heart. Mr. Sullivan was very active working with the AA program. He also volunteered at the Carney Hospital Emergency Room Outreach Program. James was a Vietnam Veteran, USMC and a friend of Bill W.
