James F. Spencer

James F. Spencer of Rockland, died February 26, 2019 after a brief hospitalization.

Jim was born in Boston to the late John and Dorothy Spencer. He grew up in Quincy and attended North Quincy High School. Jim earned his Associates Degree from Bryant and Stratton College. He worked for many years in Retail and Administration for both the Bradlees Corporation and TJX Corporation. Jim was an avid Red Sox fan, often enjoying a game in his recliner after his post work nap. He also had an interest in antique cars and enjoyed listening to oldies music. He was a kind and patient man known for his sense of humor and “Jim-isms” & will be missed by many.

Beloved husband of 46 years to Diana (Green) Spencer of Rockland. Loving father of Christine Rubera and her husband Paul of Plymouth and Sean Spencer and his wife Lisa of Rockland. Papa Jim to Nicholas and Nathan Rubera. Dear brother of Kathleen Connolly of Brockton and Marcia Shea and her husband Walter of FL. Uncle of Christopher Shea and the late Matthew Shea.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte. 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). All other services shall be private.
