James F. Drain

Drain, James F. of Attleboro, formerly of Dennis and Quincy, died Thursday, May 27, 2010 on Cape Cod. Beloved husband of Mary Claire (Tully) Drain of Attleboro. Loving father of Gretchen D.J. Scott and her husband Robert of Maryland, Kenneth Drain and his companion Maureen Sullivan of Quincy, Julianne Ricciuti and her husband Charles of Weymouth, Jennifer Gay and her husband Chris of Attleboro, Timothy Drain and his wife Jennifer of Mansfield and Amy D. Stephens and her husband James of Mendon. Brother of Mary McViney of Hingham, Geraldine DeCourcey of Bridgewater, and the late Helen Feldstein, Gertrude Sweeney, Donald Drain, Madeliene Darling and Paul Drain. Gramps to Christopher, Amanda, Alexandra, Rachel, Kirsten, Joshua, Patrick, Matthew, Molly, Kailyn and Brenna. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jim was an employee of Boston Gas for 43 years, retiring in 1990. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Monday, May 31, 2010 from 4 – 8PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Tuesday, prior to the Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10AM. Burial will be private.
