James E. Means

Means, James E. of Weymouth, formerly of Hull, passed away peacefully at home on August 16, 2023. James grew up in Hull and attended Hull High School. He worked for many years as a skilled machinist. Most recently James enjoyed his career and time spent with colleagues at Massa in Hingham. James loved boating with family and friends and was a longtime member of the Braintree Yacht Club. 

Beloved husband of the late Candace (Kane) Means. Loving father of Christopher K. Means and his wife Ashley of Natick. Cherished Grampy of Hadleigh, Ainsley and Annabel. Also predeceased by his brother Thomas Means. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours on Monday, August 28, 10-11 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, August 28, at 11 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Village Cemetery, Weymouth.
