James E. “Jim” Dooley, Sr.

Dooley, James E., Sr. of Pembroke, was born August 23, 1938 and died November 28, 2013. 

Loving son of the late John J. and Mildred (Kelly) Dooley.  Pre deceased by his wife Carole (Reynolds) Dooley.  Beloved father of James Dooley Jr. and his wife Carol of Foxboro, Kerrie Dooley of Foxboro, Arthur J. (A.J.) Dooley and his wife Angela of Foxboro, Tara Dooley of Pembroke and John Dooley of Pembroke.  Cherished Papa of Carly, Jennifer, Tori, Hallie, Ava, Mia and one grandson on the way.  Caring brother of Joan Kanash and her husband Arnold of FL and the late Paul, Richard “Sonny”, Frederick, John, Lorraine Marsden and Alice Todisco.  Also survived by his first wife Ann Marie Dooley of Foxboro, MA, many nieces, nephews and friends. 

Jim was a very hard worker for his family disposal business, Dooley Brothers in Boston. Jim later became the 3rd generation to own and operate his family business Dooley Disposal Inc.  Jim was a member of the Weymouth and Largo FL Elks Club.  What he enjoyed most in life was spending time with his entire family, especially his 6 grandchildren.  Jim was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He will be sadly missed. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary Catholic Church, Randolph, MA at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
