James C. “Jimmy” Feeney

James C. “Jimmy” Feeney of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, died unexpectedly on  May 26, 2023, he was 58. Jimmy was also known as “Jimbo’ to his friends.  The beloved son of Annie (Flaherty) Feeney of Quincy and Galway and the late Colman Feeney. Loving father of Samantha Feeney of Quincy and Christopher Conroy of NH. Brother of John Feeney of Dorchester, Michael Feeney of Laconia, NH and Coleman Feeney of Quincy. Longtime friend of Tammy Keeley of Quincy. Jimmy will be sorely missed by his best friend and companion, his dog Bradley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and loving friends.

Jimmy grew up in Dorchester. He spent many years as a bartender at Whitey’s in South Boston and the Peabody Tavern in Dorchester . Anyone who knows Jimmy knows how much he loved his Dunkin’ Donuts coffee and his Boston sports teams. He always enjoyed having family over and spending time with his nieces and nephews. Jimmy be remembered as someone who was there for those in his life whenever and wherever they needed him. He was an animal lover and owner to many rescued animals throughout his life. Jimmy was very proud of his daughter Samantha and loved her more than anything.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday, June 2nd, from 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, June 3rd, at 10 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy.

Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
