Moody, James B. of Quincy February 23, 2003. Husband of the late Anne W. (Woicik). Loving father of Paul F. Moody Sr. and his wife Karen of Quincy. Grandfather of Paul F. Jr, Quincy Fire Dept., and his wife Debra of Hanover and Michael J. of Quincy. Great Grandfather of Gavin Thomas Moody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. Member of the Koch Club, the Quincy City Club, the Silver Citizens Club, Parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, Koch Club Couples Bowling. Enjoyed Wood Carving – made Wooden birds. He was also an avid gardener. “Moody’s Corner” in Squantum was named after Mr. Moody and his family for their military service. He also graduated from North Quincy High School in 1937 and had excelled in sports. He was a pitcher for the Squantum Rackateers in the 30’s. Mr Moody was also inducted into the N.Q.H.S. Hall of Fame having played football at the high school.He continued his love of sports by helping the Quincy Youth Football League by being the commissioner of the No. Quincy Apache team.
