Trubiano, James Anthony, of Quincy, died April 10, 2017.

Jim Trubiano, beloved father, grandfather, brother, husband, and friend passed away peacefully on April 10, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Julia Trubiano of Quincy and he is survived by his wife, four children, five grandchildren, eight brothers and sisters, and 22 nieces and nephews.

Jim is survived by his wife, Teresa Trubiano (Conrad) of Braintree, and his children, Gregg and Fiona Santoro of Quincy, Jordan Trubiano of State College, PA, James C. Jim’s Catholic faith was always a source of strength. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s church in Quincy, where he received the sacraments of his faith.

Jim’s life centered on his children. He was a proud father and he always put his family first. He never missed a game, concert, or event. He reminded his children daily to H.A.N.D. (Have a nice day!).

Jim was a long time member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 17 Union and he was most recently employed as a CAD Coordinator at Boston Air Systems, Inc. Jim enjoyed his trade and his many co-workers at Boston Air Systems and United HVAC. He was relentless in doing the job right the first time and he strived to be a perfectionist in his work.

Jim appreciated the high quality care he received at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Spaulding Hospital Cambridge. Jim’s faith in God, as well as loving support from family and friends, helped him through his health challenges. He was a fighter and believed in the motto, “Never give up.”

Jim will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
