James A. “Jim” Yacobucci

James A. Yacobucci, of Hull, MA passed away peacefully on December, 10, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. 

Jim was born in Sprakers, a very small town in upstate New York. Upon graduation he joined the United States Army. After his service, he attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville earning a Bachelors Degree in Political Science all while working a full time job. Jim enjoyed 35 years of his professional career as a Special Agent with the FBI. During this time, he relocated to the Boston office and soon after settled and raised his family in Hull, MA. All his life, Jim was a dedicated family man and had a passion for helping others. Jim was a longtime member and supporter of the Hull Lions Club. He was an avid sailor who, also enjoyed cooking, reading, traveling, and above all spending time with his family and friends. 

Beloved husband of Carol Yacobucci (Young).  Loving father of Alicia Barbuto and her husband Anthony R. of Hingham and Kristin Smith and her husband Joseph of Hull.  Devoted Papa of Olivia, Addison, Jonah and Finnian. Caring brother of Sonya Yacobucci Aird and her husband David of NY, Karen Garren of AZ and the late Paul, Neil and David Yacobucci. Cherished uncle of Elizabeth Ann Snyder and her husband John and son Matthew and many other nieces and nephews.  Also, Jim is survived by many dear friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM at the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), Hingham.  A celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass at St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM.
