It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jacqueline "Jackie" Young, who left us far too soon. Jackie was a vibrant soul, known for her warmth, energy, and love of life. Her children were the center of her world, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to raising them with love and care.
Jackie was a proud graduate of North Quincy High School, Class of 1994, where she excelled as the captain of the cheerleading team. She continued her education at Quincy College, earning an Associate Degree in Business in 1998. Jackie’s career spanned multiple fields; she worked as a dedicated medical assistant at Atrius Health for many years, providing care and support to countless patients. She also brought her expertise to Putnam/Mercer Investments, where she served as a Senior implementation Analyst.
Jackie found joy in the simple things—raising her children, listening to her favorite music, spending her Sundays watching the Patriots and most importantly being the dancing queen. She had a natural gift for making everyone around her feel at ease, and her laughter was contagious. Jackie will be remembered as a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend who cherished her family and lived life to the fullest.
She is survived by her children Andrew and Aria Young of North Attleboro and predeceased by her son Brandon Young. Survived by her parents Michael and Antonina Pellitteri of Quincy. Her sisters Rosaria Tortomasi and her husband Nino, Lisa Carinci and her husband Frank all of Quincy and her sister Linda Mango and her husband Paul of South Weymouth. Proud Auntie of Sal Tortomasi and his fiancé Kayleiana, Michael and his wife Kristen Tortomasi, Anthony Tortomasi, Stephen Carinci, Bianca Mango, and Isabella Mango, and great aunt to Florence Marie. She is also survived by her loving partner Steven Rinaldi and former husband of 17 years William R. Young of North Attleboro.
Jackie will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit and memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during visiting hours on Monday, October 28th 4-8 p.m. at Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, Quincy MA.
