Carter, Jacqueline M. (Griffith) of Holbrook, formerly of Squantum, May 9, 2004. Beloved wife for 27 years of David A. Carter of Holbrook. Loving daughter of Robert and Florence Griffith of Squantum. Loving mother of Christine A., Michelle M. and David B. Carter, all of Holbrook. Loving sister of Paul & his wife Mary Griffith and Kathleen & her husband Michael O’Brien, all of Quincy. Also survived by 4 nieces, 6 nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and neighbors. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Thursday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Squantum at 10 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.Jacqueline graduated from North Quincy High School in 1973 and from Quincy Nursing School in 1975. During her career, she worked for Children’s Hospital in Boston, Milton Hospital and the Norfolk County Hospital in Braintree. Most recently, she was working for both the MA Hospital School in Canton, the South Shore Visiting Nurse Association and served as treasurer of AFSCME Local 1517. Jacqueline was a very thoughtful and giving person. Her family was her pride and joy and they loved vacationing in Lake Ossippe, NH. Donations in memory of Jacqueline may be made to the American Cancer Society, S. Regional Center, 1115 W. Chestnut St., Suite 301, Brockton, MA 02301.
