Jacqueline R. Germain

Jacqueline (Jackie) Barrett Germain passed away on September 6th at the age of 80.

Jackie was born in Willimantic, CT where she lived until retirement from both Connecticut Bank and Trust Company and UCONN. In 1997, she moved to Hull, MA to enjoy life by the ocean.

While in Hull, Jackie was actively involved with the Hull Seaside Animal Rescue. A passion for cats inspired her to oversee the donation collection boxes and the program “Cans for Cats”.

Jackie is survived by brother James Barrett and sister Margaret Melillo, both of CT. She also leaves daughters Sandra Gibson (Hull) and Laurie Aronson (CT), granddaughters Shannon Luggelle and Taylor Gibson, both residents of Hull, and Brianna Aronson (CT), as well as 2 great grandchildren Elizabeth and Jameson Luggelle. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A funeral home service will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM. Cremation will follow.
