Isabella (Smyth) Clapp

Clapp, Isabella (Smyth) “Belle” of Weymouth, died on May 29, 2014.

Isabella was very involved at East Congregational Church in Weymouth and would always attend any social event that was held. She enjoyed crafts, baking, and loved travelling to Hawaii. Her family was very important to her and will be sorely missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Beloved wife of the late Herbert B. Clapp. Loving mother of Doris T. Stetson and her late husband Paul, of Rockland, Peg Kennedy of Natick, David S. Clapp and his wife, Karen, of NH, Janet E. Adams and her husband, Bob, of Plympton, and Stephen H. Clapp and his wife, Donna, of Braintree. Sister-in-law of the late Elaine Kelly. Grandmother of the late Eric Sample and Patrick Adams. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Sq.)  Funeral services will be celebrated on Monday at 11 AM in East Weymouth Congregational Church, 1320 Commercial Street, Weymouth. Burial will follow in Old North Cemetery, Weymouth.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Beacon Hospice, 32 Resnick Road, Suite 3, Plymouth, MA 02360. The family would like to express their gratitude for the care she received from her hospice team whom she loved dearly.
