Irene M. Schuler

Irene M. Schuler (Plourde) Nolet of Pembroke, died April 28, 2013.

Irene grew up in Weymouth, graduating from Weymouth High School Class of 1945. She worked for 22 years at South Shore Bank, retiring in 1989. She has lived in Pembroke for the last 15 years. She was an active parishioner at both Immaculate Conception Parish in Weymouth and St. Thecla Parish in Pembroke, a member of the Friends of South Shore Hospital and the Weymouth Catholic Club. Irene enjoyed knitting for charity and wintering in Marco Island, FL where she had many dear friends.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph Nolet and Robert Schuler. Devoted mother of Richard Nolet and his wife Maria of Concord, James Nolet and his wife Diane of Carver, John Nolet and his wife Cheryl of Pembroke and Bob Nolet and his wife Midge of Pembroke. Cherished “Grammy” of 10 grandchildren. Loving sister of M.Claire Plourde of Weymouth and the late Lucille Hamilton and Yvette Slattery. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth. Donation in memory of Irene may be made to either Immaculate Conception Church, 1199 Commercial Street, Weymouth, MA 02189 or St. Thecla Parish, 145 Washington Street, Pembroke, MA 02359.
