Irene M. Craig

Craig, Irene M. (DeGust), better known to all as “Nana”, passed peacefully on Wednesday, January 28th surrounded by her family. 

Irene was born in Boston, but lived the majority of her life in Quincy, Weymouth and most recently Carver, MA. 

Irene was a huge sports fan and could be just as easily excited by a round of golf as she could a big Patriots game. Aside from sports, there was nothing more that she loved than being surrounded by her large family whom she was always so proud of. 

She is predeceased by three sisters and two brothers. She was the beloved wife of the late Victor H. Craig and devoted mother to the late Gregory A. Craig and his widow Nancy of New Jersey and the late Michael A. Craig and his widow Denise of Weymouth. Survived by Richard H. Craig of Manomet, MA, Paul V. Craig and his fiancé Nancy Vida of Michigan, Maureen E. Masley and her husband Edward of Weymouth and Trisha Craig Forst and her husband Ian of Carver. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren who she enjoyed spending as much time as possible with. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM (Love, Nana – GO PATS!!) in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 10 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 11 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
