MacIver, Irene C. (Cummings) of Hingham July 22, 2007. Wife of the late Edmund H. MacIver. Loving mother of Wayne J. of Kingston, Joyce M. Foster of Pembroke, Deborah A. Cornacchini of Dedham, Bruce D. of Hingham, Thomas R. of Hull and the late Warren E. MacIver. Sister of Phyllis Cummings of Quincy, the late Ethel Gebhardt & Leo & Richard Cummings. Irene was a devoted grandmother to 9 and great grandmother to 11. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald Street, HINGHAM, Friday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Burial in Saint Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham. Irene worked at the Hingham Shipyard for the war effort during WWII as a riveter and ammunitions manufacturer. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the George Mealy Post in Cohasset. Irene worked as a waitress at Hugo’s Lighthouse Restaurant in Cohasset and the Cozy Nook in Hull.
