Ida May Jay

Jay, Ida May (Sharkey) of Quincy, passed away December 28, 2016. 

Ida was a long term resident of Quincy.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Family was the cornerstone of her life.  Ida will be remembered for her gentleness and strength.  She will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

Dear wife to the late Franklin Jay.  Cherished mother to Owen Jay of Toronto, Canada, Paul Jay and his wife Jean of Marshfield, Suanne Jay of Naples, FL, Denise J. Perdios and her husband Don Perdios of Braintree and Kevin Jay of Braintree.  Loving Nana to Christopher, Andrea, Patrick, Karoline, Alexandra, Kevin, Ryan and Owen.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
