Ida M. Patrizi

Patrizi, Ida M. (Santospirito), 91, of Quincy, died December 30, 2012. Beloved wife of the late John Patrizi. Loving mother of Joanne DiBella and her husband Ron of Quincy, Christine Sullivan and her husband Bill of Yarmouthport and Michael Patrizi of Quincy. Sister of the late Manny and Joseph Santospirito. Cherished grandmother of Christine, Lee, Brian, Kimberly and Katelyn. Ida was also delighted by her great-grandson Jayden. Ida was born in Boston and raised in Mattapan before settling in Quincy where she raised her family on Greene Street in Wollaston. She was a very talented seamstress and an extraordinary baker. Ida was a proud member of the Women’s Italian Club of Boston. She was an active resident of the River Bay Club in Quincy where she met many new friends with whom she enjoyed daily activities, including the Red Hat Society. Above all, Ida’s family was the cornerstone of her life. She will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure to have known her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday, January 3, 2012 from 3-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, Wollaston. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:00am Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 9:45am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
