Howard C. “Howie” Tripp

Howard C. “Howie” Tripp of Rockland, died peacefully at home on August 28, 2020 at the age of 64.

Howie proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He worked for the town of Hanover for many years where he was well regarded by everyone that knew him. Howie enjoyed vacationing in Vermont and riding his Harley Davidson. He was extremely handy and could fix just about anything. Spending time with his circle of friends was one of his greatest joys. Howie knew what was important in life. His family was everything to him and he cherished being a grandfather.

He was the beloved husband of Martha L. (Parks) Tripp. Loving father of Cynthia Tripp and her partner Michael Iverson of Whitman; and Crystal Gillespie and her husband Gary of Rockland. Devoted “Grampy” of Jesse, Grace, Lily (who adored their grandfather) and his granddog Hadley-Bean. Loving brother in law of Linda McLarnon and Alan Parks. Also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends whom he cherished.

Services are private.

Normally, the funeral is an opportunity for the community to gather in support of one another. Although we cannot gather together with Howard’s family at this time, friends may still offer their support by sharing a special memory or message by clicking the link above.
