Howard B. Hall, III of Weymouth, formerly of Hingham, died June 30, 2018 at the age of 65.

He was a graduate of Hingham High School and the University of MA, Amherst. Howie was an avid reader and when he was younger loved to sail and be on the ocean. His first love was always for his family. He liked nothing more than to get everyone together, including his 89-year-old mother, Nancy Sturges Hall, and cook for everyone.

After college Howie started his work career in the family business with his father, H Brackett Hall, at Hall & Cole Produce in Chelsea MA. He loved his work and the friendships he made with both farmers and colleagues in the produce business. His death ended his recent career at Garden Fresh Salad in Chelsea.

Howie is the father of two daughters, Alison Hall and Jennifer Hall.  He was proud of their accomplishments and loved them very much. Howie leaves behind his devoted and loving companion Maureen Hurney. Together they enjoyed their work, their gardens and their home in Weymouth. Howie was the beloved son of Nancy Hall and the late H. Brackett Hall, and the loving brother of Carolyn Schulten and her husband Stephen of Dover, NH. Cherished uncle of Elizabeth Morse of NH, Katherine Schulten of NH and great-nieces Evelyn, Grace, Ruby, Miriam, Mara and Eleanor.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Howie may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 186 Highland Avenue, Somerville, MA 02143.
