Weinsoff, Herman “Hy” of Hull, May 22, 2006. Beloved husband of Ginger C. (Forgione) Weinsoff of Hull and the late Dolly Weinsoff. Father of Chris Walker of Waltham. Stepfather of Sheila Anderson of FL, Julian Glassman of NH, Robert Young of FL and Richard Young of ME. Also survived by 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., (off Central St.) Thursday, June 1, 2006 at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Hull, Thursday June 1, 2006 at 10 AM. Visitation prior to Mass. Burial in Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon. Donations in memory of Mr. Weinsoff may be made to St. Mary of the Assumption Parish, St. Ann Church, P.O. Box 565, Hull, MA 02045-0565. Hy was a health and fitness enthusiast. Since the age of twelve years old he became keenly aware of how to take proper care of his body, mind and soul. He placed 2nd in the Mr. America Bodybuilding Competition in the late 1940’s. He continued his passion for fitness into his senior years. He loved music, especially Opera’s, and had an extensive collection of albums. Mr. Weinsoff enjoyed walks along Nantasket Beach in Hull. He also enjoyed reading books about nutrition and natural health. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII.
