Herbert S. Y. Yep

Herbert S. Y. Yep, of Braintree,  formerly of Boston, died April 8, 2013. Age 92. 

Herbert was born in Toishan China.  He worked for MIT  Draper Lab for many years and was also a founding member of the Boston Chinese Evangelical Church.  Mr. Yep was a WWII Navy Veteran.  

Beloved husband of the late Tuey Tow (Chin) Yep.  Loving father of Dorothy S.M. Yep of Cambridge, Jeanette S. G. Yep of Burlington, John A. W. Yep of Providence, RI,  and the late Sue Ling Yee.  Brother of David G. Yep MD of Stamford, CT, and the late Tai Guey Chin.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 2-4 P.M. and  6-8 P.M in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in memory of Herbert may be made to the Boston Evangelical Church, 249 Harrison Ave, Boston, MA  02111.
