Andrews, Helena “Rene” M. (Quinn) of Rockland, formerly of North Quincy , January 1, 2005. The Beloved Wife of 57 years to Joseph F. Andrews . Loving Mother of Donna J. Harris & Paula J. Smith both of E. Bridgewater, Christine M. Heidke of Plympton, Michael F. Andrews of Braintree and Karen J. Lavigne of Quincy. Sister of Zita Beaulieu of Stewart, FL. Mrs. Andrews is also survived by 13 grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, No. Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 and 7- 9 PM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Helena was known by “Rene” by most. She grew up in Boston and graduated from Girls High School in Boston. After her graduation she went to work for a photographer. She married her military husband Joseph in 1947 and he was stationed at that time in Corpus Christi, Texas where they began their family. They moved between Texas and CA throughout his military career. In 1963, they moved to North Quincy. Mrs. Andrews began working out side her home in various jobs, her family remembers her working at Valley’s Steak House in Braintree, also at Jordan Marsh Retail store, she also worked at Child World and then at the First National Bank before beginning her career at the South Postal Annex where she worked for 21 years retiring in 1987. Rene loved music, but her passion was dancing. She loved line dancing and would dance for various functions with many of her friends.
