Helen Veronica Cody

Cody, Helen V. (Buckley) of Hingham, died on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 she was 101. Beloved wife of the late John H. Cody. Loving mother of William F. Cody and his partner John Kyper . Sister of the late Daniel & Edward Buckley. Niece of the late Julie & John Buckley. Aunt of Carol Viola of Andover, Janice Whitney of FL, Marie Winiewicz of East Bridgewater, Alice Flynn of Andover, Ellen Laughton of Ipswich. Cousin of Virginia Mazur of Jamaica Plain. Helen is also survived by several other nieces and nephews. Helen enjoyed cooking and was a proud graduate of the Boston Cooking School. She enjoyed traveling and loved to read newspapers. Helen was a devoted mother to her son William. She will be sadly missed by all those who were blessed to have known her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Monday, April 19, 4-8 pm in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. Funeral Mass in St. Ignatius Church, 28 Commonwealth Ave, Chestnut Hill Tuesday at 10 AM. Burial in Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline. Donations in memory of Helen may be made to a charity of your choice.
