Helen Taylor

Taylor, Helen (Kasparian) of Quincy, died October 4, 2016 with her son at her side.

She was 102 years old. Helen was a nurse for over 50 years, the last 25 years at the Armenian Nursing Home in Jamaica Plain. She devoted her life to helping people in need and volunteered into her 90’s, helping the homeless and creating a children’s pantry for needy children at her church. Her love for music and animals, especially her stuffed ones brought her so much joy. Helen always put others before herself and will be missed dearly by all of those lives she touched. 

Helen was the daughter of the late Avakouhy and Peter Kasparian of Worcester. She was predeceased by 4 sisters. She is survived by her beloved son John Taylor of Hull and honorary daughters Bounnhong Phouthavong of Hull, Arpy Aghazarian of Hull and Amy Sears of Weymouth. Loving aunt of Gary Kazanjian of CT, David Chopourian and his wife Roxann of Billerica, George Chopourian of Quincy, Sandra Assadorian of CT, and many grand nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). Funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 AM. Burial in Old North Cemetery, Weymouth.
