Helen T. Connolly

Connolly, Helen T (Ryan) of Quincy passed away peacefully on July 13, 2012 with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Thomas M. Connolly. Loving mother of Judith Mitchell of Naples, FL, Steven Connolly of Braintree, Patti Whitney of Scottsdale, AZ, Susan Scott of Naples, FL, Michael Connolly of Somerset, Kathy Gaynor of Keller, TX, Nancy Connolly of Quincy, Joanne Cremins of Eastham, Paul Connolly of Norwell, and the late Thomas C. Connolly. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Born in Somerville, Helen had lived many years in Quincy. Until her retirement, she had worked as a telephone operator for the National Fire Protection Agency as well as Thomson and Thomson. Helen enjoyed spending time with her family at all times and will be sorely missed by all of those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday from 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial will be private. Due to the flower limitation at the cemetery, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the South Shore, 100 Bay State Drive, Braintree, MA 02185-9060. The family would like to thank all of the staff at Harbor House in Hingham for the compassionate care given to their beloved mother.
