Lynch and his wife Linda of Hingham, Stephen D. Lynch of Brookline, and Kathleen M. Cochrane and her husband John of Hingham.  Helen is also lovingly survived by 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Helen, the eldest of five children, was pre-deceased by Margaret Sheehan, John F, Curley, Esquire, James M. After raising seven children, Helen went back to school, learned computer skills and was employed for many years at the Massachusetts Division of Employment Security.  She was a person of great faith and became active in many parish activities including The Woman’s Guild.  She enjoyed cooking, arts and crafts and above all, the education and upbringing of her children. As her family grew, Helen was the family reporter and the conduit of all information concerning any significant family events and accomplishments. Nana was beloved by all.

In the middle of her life, Helen and John purchased a quaint ocean front cottage on Wilson’s Grove in Popponesset, which was the venue for numerous celebrations over the years.  Wilson’s Grove was a favorite retreat for Helen, who swam every summer day until the age of 95.  After her husband’s death, Helen lived at Allerton House in Hingham, where she made many friends, enjoyed Bingo, music and lively conversations with many visitors and the devoted and caring staff.
