McDonald, Helen M. (Donovan) of Quincy, August 22, 2002. Beloved wife of John F. McDonald, Sr. Loving mother of Mary E. MacDonald of Quincy, Carol A. Sasso of Methuen, John F. Jr. of Quincy, Jean M. Brogna of Weymouth, Joseph W. of Quincy, Deborah A. McDonald of Quincy, Paul R. of Buffalo, NY and Timothy J. of Quincy. Devoted sister of Marie Flynn of Chestnut Hill, Dorothy Hannon of Sandwich, Theresa Macdonald of Reading, Bernard Donovan of No. Reading, the late Gertrude “Trudy” Colbert and the late John Donovan. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.Mrs. McDonald was active in her parish of St. Ann in Wollaston. She assisted as a Eucharistic Minister, Lector and a member of the Altar Society as well as a member of the Marianns. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 2-4 and 7- 9. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
