Helen M. “Honey” Lenane

Lenane, Helen M. (Schofield) “Honey” of Quincy, originally of Dorchester, died January 29, 2024.

Honey loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was a musician and a yodeler in a band that played locally around the area. She was also in a singing group at the Kennedy Senior Center and enjoyed crocheting. Honey was an avid collector of teacups and Native American artifacts. She traveled later in life and loved the Boston Celtics. Honey was described as a pillar of love. She was a sweet, loving, and kind woman who didn’t have a mean bone in her body. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Beloved wife of the late John D. Lenane. Loving mother of Elizabeth Lenane of Quincy and John Lenane and his wife Michelle of Florida. Also survived by 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 5 siblings.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday 10 AM-12 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY followed by a funeral home service at 12 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
