Born in Boston, she was raised in Dorchester and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (O’Regan) Condon. Helen attended local schools and graduated from the St. Joseph High School in Boston with the Class of 1954.

The most important part of Helen’s life was her family, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She loved them all more than anything and there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for the people she cared about. Helen was very maternal and after her sisters died, she mothered her nieces and nephews as her own. A selfless and loving person, Helen always made a point to support her family and give back to her community. She was a generous benefactor to the Catholic Church, local organizations and politicians.
In Helen’s spare time she enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports and keeping up with her favorite Boston sports teams. Helen loved watching the New England Patriots with her friends. She also enjoyed going to classical and country music concerts. Helen was an active member at One Thousand Southern Artery and the Kennedy Center.
Helen had a wonderful personality. She was fun loving, witty, independent and stoic. Her love, life lessons and example are her legacy that continue through her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
