LeBaron, Helen Glendyne Carpenter, 98, of Quincy, passed away January 2, 2010. Daughter of the late Lillian Steeves and Seymour Carpenter, she was born in 1911 in Everett. She graduated from Everett High School in 1929. After graduation, she worked for Mills Automatic in Boston before marrying the now late Edward S. LeBaron in 1934. In the 1940’s the family moved to Quincy and she was head of payroll department for Parker House of Boston. She then became bursar of Curry College in 1963 until her retirement in 1981. She was a member of the Wollaston Baptist Church for over 60 years. She was an active member of the Marston Class early on. She was an extremely loving and caring Mom, Grandmom, and great Grandmom. We all learned a lot from her. “Memories of Helen – Extraordinary moments of riches in every soul.” She leaves two daughters: Ruth Mahoney & her husband John “Butch” and Judith L. Badger of Quincy; four grandchildren: Jon L. Badger & his wife Karen of Whitman, Daniel E. Mahoney, Jeffrey A. Badger and Susan A. Storer & her husband Ronan, all of Quincy; thirteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; one brother Dr. C. Bernard Carpenter & his wife Sandra of NH; and one sister, the late Averill M. Olson. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Wednesday 5-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service in the First Baptist Church of Wollaston, 81 Prospect Ave., Quincy Thursday at 10:30 AM. Burial in Glenwood Cemetery, Everett. A special thank you goes to Grove Manor Estates, Braintree and Pope Nursing Home, Weymouth for the exceptional care given to Mom.
