Helen E. Nilsen

Helen E. (Olson) Nilsen of Weymouth, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, April 6, 2016. 

Beloved wife of 67 years to Arnold V. Nilsen of Weymouth. Loving mother of Janis A. Murray and her husband Daniel of Abington, Karen E. Warwick and her husband Steven of Weymouth, Dianne C. Bryan and her husband Michael of Weymouth and Lisa J. Nilsen Neary and her husband James of Dallas, TX.  Cherished “Nunnie” of Michelle, Todd, Allison, Becky, Justine, Deanna, Andy, Matt, Kate, Dan and Megs. Helen will be missed by her 4 great-grandchilren; Cooper, Charlie, Liam and Shane.   She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Helen was a devout Christian who was very active member of the South Weymouth Church of the Nazarene for many years.  She was a wonderful baker who loved to hostess family gatherings.  Her greatest joy in life was making special loving memories with her family throughout the years.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends are welcome to  gather in South Weymouth Church of the Nazarene,  385 Ralph Talbot Street, S. Weymouth, MA Monday at 11AM. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, S. Weymouth.
