Kelly, Helen A. (Baszynski) of Quincy, died in her home on May 31, 2004. Beloved Wife of the late John M. Kelly, Sr. Loving Mother of Bridget Kelly of Quincy, Jayne Melinda Ricci and her husband Vincent of Brockton, John M. Kelly, Jr. and his wife Linda of Haverhill, Marilyn Morton of Boston and Elaine Crehan and her husband Paul of Millis. The adored Nana to 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Helen was very active in her churches in both Millis and Quincy. She was a longtime CCD Teacher at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Quincy. She was the first President of the Dominican Sisters of Bethany in Millis, MA. It was a charity that supported nuns as they came over from France. Helen was a great gardener and cook and a wonderful artist. She won a scholorship to study at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. She was well known for hosting the annual Christmas Eve Celebration for her family at her home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Friday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Burial in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Boston. Donations in memory of Mrs. Kelly may be made to the Jimmy Fund 1309 Beacon Street Brookline, MA 02446-9918.
