Brennan, Helen A. of West Roxbury, January 21, 2003. Daughter of the late Joseph P. and Ellen P. (McGovern) Brennan. Beloved sister of Edward A. Brennan, Sr. of Plymouth, and the late Joseph and Ruth Brennan, Mary Flanagan, Quenton A. Brennan, and Patricia Boutiette. Also, survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral from the Keefe Keohane Funeral Home, 8 Spring St. (corner of Centre St.), WEST ROXBURY Friday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Theresa’s Church, West Roxbury (handicapped accessible) at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4:00 – 8:00 PM. Miss Brennan retired from the Roslindale Library as head librarian in 1989. Prior to that Miss Brennan worked for many years at the library in Fields Corner. Member of St. Susanna’s Women’s Club. Miss Brennan loved music. She played the Irish harp and the piano.
