Hau Tac Tang

Hau Tac Tang, of Dorchester, formerly of Quincy and Vietnam, died peacefully on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Milton. He was 91.

Hau was born in China on June 2, 1931. He was raised in China and moved to Vietnam in 1949 at the age of 18. In 1992, Hau immigrated to the United States. Hau was a farmer in Vietnam and retired in 1992 when he made the United States his home.

Hau was a very caring and loving person. He was a dedicated husband and father. Hau valued health and wellbeing and would always do what he could to help the people in his life. He would do anything for the people he loved and cared for. In his spare time, you would find Hau spending a quiet night at home, enjoying his time with family.

Hau was the beloved husband of the late Bac Thi Le and their eight children (one deceased).

Hau was the beloved husband of Nhung Thi Kim Le and her two children (one deceased).

Hau was the loving grandfather of eighteen and the loving great grandfather of four.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday, March 31, 2023, 6-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

His funeral service will be on Saturday, April 1, 2023, 7-8:30 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy.

Services conclude with interment in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
