Chase, Harold R., Sr., age 82 of Quincy. December 20, 2001, from injuries sustained in a car accident.A retired 43 year federal employee he worked 37 years in the Post Office as a carrier and clerk. Born in Newton he lived most of his life in Quincy. After graduating from North Quincy High School he spent 24 years in the Civilian Conservation Corp in New Hampshire and Vermont. Mr. Chase was a veteran of WWII serving in the Navy from 1942 to 1945.Husband of the late Louise T. (Clifford) Chase. Husband of the late Louise T. (Clifford) Chase. Beloved father of Harold R. “Harry” Chase, Jr. and his wife Marilyn of Quincy. Brother of William Chase of Quincy and the late Sara Nelson, Al, Carroll, Lou, Clarence and Bud Chase. Uncle of Walter Clifford of Quincy. Loving grandfather of Joy Chase of Florida and Michael Chase of Boston. Also survived by four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service in the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Monday at 10:30 AM.Visiting hours Sunday 2-4 & 7-9.
