Harold Johnson

Harold Johnson of Abington, formerly of Kingston, died December 26, 2016.

Harold proudly served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He went on to have a successful career as an engineer for over 40 years, starting in the Quincy Shipyard. After retiring, Harold could be found working in his family’s appliance store, golfing, bowling or clamming. Harold will be remembered for his kind and gentle nature.  

Beloved husband of 61 years to the late Mildred J. Johnson. Devoted father of Lisa Earp and her husband David of Abington. Loving brother of Edmund Johnson and his wife Barbara of NH. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

A funeral service will follow in the funeral home on Friday at 7 PM.

Burial at a later date in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Harold may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
