Gallagher, Harold J. Jr. of Easton formerly of Quincy, September 29, 2006. Beloved husband of Peg A. (Cambria) Gallagher of Easton, Loving father of Mary A. Harvell of Lexington, James H. and Michael P. Gallagher both of Easton, John H. Gallagher of Tennessee, and Wayne F. Gallagher of Colorado. Also lovingly survived by 17 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Monday at 9:30 AM. Funeral service in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10:30 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 4 – 8 PM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. WWII Navy Veteran. Mr. Gallagher was a 1943 graduate of Boston English High School. Harold joined the Navy where he was a radio man. Shortly after the navy, Harold started his own Heating and Air Conditioning business in Wollaston “Gallagher and Sons” which later moved to Dorchester. Although owning his own business was his biggest passion, his favorite pastime was ten pin bowling. He was the secretary, treasurer of the Greater Boston Ten Pin Bowling Assoc. for 26 years and was also a past President. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1986 for his bowling accomplishments. He was a member of the American Bowling Congress. Harold and his wife Peg were members of St. Mary’s Seniors in West Quincy. The most important things in Harold’s life were his wife Peg and his Children, Grandchildren and Great- grandchildren.
