Harold J. D’Entremont

Harold J. D’Entremont, 92, of Weymouth, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 3, 2018.

Born In East Boston, he was a son of the late Joseph and Caroline D’Entremont. A graduate of East Boston High School and Northeastern University. Harold was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus, # 5027 in Weymouth, where he had also served as a past Grand Knight and a life member of the Fourth Degree Richard Cardinal Cushing Assembly in Quincy. He is also a life member of the Abington V.F.W. He was a proud WWII veteran serving with the United States Army, where he fought in the Battle of the Bulge.

Beloved husband of  Irene L. (Bettencourt) D’Entremont. Loving father of Duane D’Entremont of Sanford, Maine, Rodney D’Entremont and his wife, Marcella, of Naples, FL. Brother of Anne d’Entremont of Braintree, Eileen Flanagan of Naples, FL, and the late Peter D’Entremont, Muriel Hembrough, and Herman D’Entremont. Brother in law of Eva Casey D’Entremont of Somerville. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-5 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 10:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 11 AM. Burial will follow in MA National Cemetery, Bourne, at 1:30 PM.
