Hannah M. Lyne

Lyne, Hannah Mary (Falvey) of Weymouth, formerly of Hyde Park, Worcester, and County Kerry, Ireland, age 85, passed away with her family by her side on January 9, 2022. Hannah worked for many years as a nurse’s aide for various nursing homes, including the Quincy Nursing Home for more than 35 years. She enjoyed dancing at Concannon’s on Saturday nights, visiting the Irish Village, vacationing in the Catskill Mountains, and traveling to Ireland to visit with family. She was well-known for making the most delicious Irish bread. 

 Beloved wife of 46 years to the late Andrew J. Lyne, Sr. Loving mother of Andrew J. Lyne, Jr. and Jan of Marshfield, Gerald J. Lyne and Pam of ME, John P. Lyne and Myra of Norwell, Daniel D. Lyne and Joyce of Plymouth, Dennis W. Lyne and Michelle of N. Weymouth, Janie M. Salani and Charlie of N. Weymouth, and Siobhan E. Kinney and Peter of E. Bridgewater. Cherished aunt to York McLaughlin and Lindsey of Braintree. Devoted Nana to 17 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-nieces. Hannah also leaves behind many loving relatives and extended family in Ireland. Predeceased by her siblings; Jeremiah, Mary, Katherine, and William. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Saturday 8AM-11AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). Relatives and friends will gather for a final prayer in the funeral home at 11AM, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 11:30 AM.
