H. Maude Conroy

Conroy, H. Maude (Murphy) of Hingham and Hull, January 24, 2008. Wife of the late Joseph F. Conroy. Loving mother of John Conroy & wife Diane Shields-Conroy of FL, Teresa & husband Carl Durk of Pocatello, ID, Mary & husband John Perry of Plymouth, Marion & husband William Burton of Carver, Elaine & husband Ken Spink of Plymouth, and the late Joseph F. Conroy, Jr. and Clare Conroy. Sister of Daniel J. Murphy of Doylestown, PA and Rosemary Hosley of Ventura, CA. Devoted “Gramma” of Beth, John, Kate, David, Kathleen, Bryan, and Scott. Maude was an active volunteer at St. Paul’s Church, St. Paul’s School, and the Girl Scouts for many years. She also taught swimming to adults with special needs and was a member of the Hingham Walking Club. Gardening and swimming were two of her favorite activities. She devoted her life to her family and will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4-7 PM. Burial in Saint Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
