Gregory J. Cicchetti

Cicchetti, Gregory J. of Kingston, formerly of Marshfield, died September 14, 2015.

Greg valued family, friends and solid relationships. He was a loyal Boston sports fan and followed UCONN basketball. Greg himself enjoyed playing pool and was a regular at “Stix and Stones” in Abington. He enjoyed music, art, cars and a good cigar from time to time.  His appreciation of art led him to starting up a .com business buying, selling and trading comic books as he enjoyed them as a child along with his cousins and appreciated the artwork. Greg will be remembered for his big personality, firm handshake and generous nature, and as one who was a genuine friend to all who knew him.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Dorothy (Matanes) Cicchetti of Kingston, his father and best friend Dr. George Cicchetti, his mother and confidant Mary Jo (Pescatore) Cicchetti of Marshfield and his sister Gia Lane of Marshfield, along with his nieces that he adored Ava and Anya Lane of Marshfield.  Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 10 AM.  Cremation will follow.
