Gregory T. Cannon, a beloved husband, brother, and friend, passed away suddenly on October 10, 2024, in Weymouth, Massachusetts, at the age of 74. Born on February 12, 1950, in Braintree, Massachusetts, Gregory was the son of the late Gardner and Rose Cannon.

Gregory graduated from Braintree High School in 1968 and went on to pursue an education that would lay the foundation for his distinguished career in Pharmacy. He earned his RPH from Northeastern University School of Pharmacy in 1982 and furthered his studies with a Master's degree in Public Healthcare Policy from the same institution. His dedication to his profession was evident during his tenure as a Clinical Pharmacist and Director of Pharmacy at various hospitals throughout the Boston area.

His journey through life was marked by vibrant experiences and cherished memories. Gregory had a unique spirit that led him to memorable adventures, including a pivotal trip to Woodstock and a significant move across the country. Afterward, he returned to Boston, where he worked on the fish pier before choosing to go back to school—a decision that would shape the rest of his life.

In addition to his remarkable professional accomplishments, Gregory shared a profound partnership with his wife, Cate. They were married for 43 years and enjoyed a loving and supportive relationship for a total of 47 years, creating a life filled with laughter, joy, and fond memories. Together, they made Hingham their home for 37 years, where they built a community and cultivated enduring friendships.

Gregory was a longtime member of the South Shore Country Club, a place he loved to play golf. He found joy in reading, gardening, fishing, and celebrating life with friends and family. These passions reflected his vibrant personality and zest for life.

Gregory is survived by his devoted wife, Cate, and his three beloved sisters: Janet Cannon, Joanne Brown, and Joyce Cannon. He will also be remembered by his niece, Jennifer Cannon Unione, and nephews Adam Brown, Ashley Cannon, and the late Colin Brown. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gery Cannon.

While services will be private, the legacy of Gregory T. Cannon will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit, wisdom, and commitment to his family and profession will forever be cherished.
