Gregory “Burky” Burke

Burke, Gregory J. “Burky” of Quincy, died on June 22, 2011. The beloved son of Claire Burke of Quincy. Loving grandson of Phyllis Burke of Quincy. Cherished nephew of Stephen Burke of Plymouth, Robert Burke of Pawtucket, RI and Elizabeth Amancio of Attleboro. Gregory is also survived by many cousins and friends. A long time Quincy resident, Greg attended Archbishop Williams High School and North Quincy High School. He enjoyed playing football, loved watching movies and found great pleasure in drawing. Animals had a special place in his heart, especially his cat Kiki. Greg worked in sales and also worked as a fitness instructor. He will be remembered as a fun loving, outgoing young man with a great sense of humor, who will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 12:30 PM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial will be private. Donations in memory of Gregory may be made to MSPCA, 350 S.
