Graciela Callejas-Paez

Graciela Callejas-Paez, of Weymouth, died March 10, 2021 surrounded by her family.

Graciela grew up in Bogota, Colombia and has lived in the USA for over 40 years. She worked for Baxter Healthcare in Cambridge for over 10 years. Graciela was an active parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes in Jamaica Plain. She loved spending time with family on a nice quiet day outdoors. Graciela could often be found enjoying a word search, jigsaw puzzle, Parcheesi, Chinese Checkers, or a good book. She will be deeply missed.  

Beloved mother of Myriam Gaitan of Weymouth. Cherished Nana of Myriam Graciela Colon and her husband Christopher Michael Cruz of Weymouth. Great Nana to Sofia Alejandra and soon to be great-granddaughter Elena. Loving sister of Ilma, Ramon, Fernando, Esperanza, Marta and Pilar. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Graciela may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Shriners Hospitals for Children, Attn: Office of Development, 2900 N. Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.

Normally, the funeral is an opportunity for the community to gather in support of one another. Although we cannot gather together with Graciela’s family at this time, friends may still offer their support by clicking the link above and sharing a special memory or message.
