Grace M. Kennedy

Kennedy, Grace M. (Healy) of Hingham, formerly of Melrose, died January 9, 2016. 

Grace loved to travel and adored her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren taking them out for ice cream and cooking them breakfast. Her faith was very important to her and she was a devout Catholic, always having her rosaries right by her side. Grace was a longtime employee of New England Telephone before retiring. She was a very independent woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Beloved wife of the late John J. Kennedy Sr. Cherished mother of John J. Kennedy Jr. and his wife Eva of Tewksbury and Thomas M. Kennedy and his wife Candace of Weymouth. Loving Nana of Joshua and Janina Kennedy of Tewksbury, Thomas Kennedy and his wife Heather of Weymouth, Patrick Kennedy and his girlfriend Monica Marchione of Rockland, and Kathleen Banks and her husband John of San Diego. Cherished great nana to John Banks Jr. (JJ). Sister of the late Richard J. Healy Jr. Cousin of Fr. Patrick Healy. Also survived by special neighbor Mary Gartung of Hingham. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
