Grace Lee Anderson

Grace Lee Anderson died on Friday, June 30, 2023, at the age of 85 after a lengthy period of declining health. 

Grace was born in Quincy and raised in Hull. A schoolteacher who loved her country, Grace taught the children of service members stationed overseas in Germany for many years. Grace was an accomplished artist who loved painting, politics, the Republican Party, Nantasket Beach, and Paragon Park. Grace was a doting aunt and loyal friend. Above all else, Grace loved her family dearly.

Grace was the beloved sister of Elizabeth A. (Anderson) Trubia of Hull, and Edward G. Anderson and his wife Mary of Gloucester. She was the cherished aunt of Michael L. Trubia and his wife Eileen of Tolland, CT, Lawrence D. Trubia and his wife Margaret of Hull, Amy M. (Anderson) Belger and her husband David of Holliston, David M. Anderson and his wife Karen of Weston, FL, and Edward M. Anderson of Henderson, Nevada, Grace was predeceased by her nephews James E. Trubia and John R. Trubia of Hull, and her beloved brother-in-law Salvatore J. Trubia of Hull. Grace is also survived by many grand- and great grand-nieces and nephews.

Grace’s life was celebrated at a private service followed by burial at Hull Village Cemetery, Hull.
